Gran Canaria hosts 3 big game fishing tournaments every year. During these tournament days, fishing takes place from a boat with a maximum of 6 anglers.
The CFE Puerto de Mogán Championship takes place during the last week of June. This is a new competition and between 30 and 40 boats are expected to participate. There are 2 days of trolling for Blue Marlin and White Marlin, Spearfish, all tuna species, Dorado and Wahoo, plus 1 day of bottom fishing.
The Puerto Rico Big Game Fishing Championship takes place every year during the third or fourth week of July. Based on participation in previous years, between 15 and 20 sport fishing boats are expected to take part in this Big Game tournament.
There are 2 days of trolling for Blue Marlin and White Marlin, Spearfish, all tuna species, Dorado and Wahoo.
The Pasito Blanco International Open takes place during the fourth week of August. Based on participation in previous years, between 40 and 50 sport fishing boats are expected to take part in this Big Game tournament.
There are 2 days of trolling for Blue Marlin and White Marlin, Spearfish and all tuna species.
We also participate in fishing tournaments in La Gomera, Fuerteventura and Lanzarote.
